Book presentation

Presentation of the new book "Parlamentary rights" at the University of Montenegro

The publication "Parlamentary right" which was supported by KAS Rule of Law Programme South East Europe (RLPSEE), was presented to the academic community at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro, Univerzitet Crne Gore,in Podgorica on 12 November. Among the speakers at the presentation were Dr. Srdjan Darmanovic, the Foreign Minister of Montenegro, as well as Prof. Dragan Vukcevic, President of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts. The panel discussion was moderated by Prof. Drazen Cerovic, with the authors, Prof. Marijana Pajvancic and Prof. Miodrag Vokuvic MP presenting their recent publication. Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung was represented by the Head of the country office in Montenegro, Mr Norbert Beckmann-Dierkes, as well as the Director of the Rule of Law Programme South East Europe, Hartmut Rank.

KAS Rule of Law Programme South East Europe (RLPSEE) organized a presentation of the new book "Parlamentary rights" at the Parliament of Montenegro, Skupstina Crne Gore, on 11 November. The panel discussion was moderated by the Deputy Speaker, Mr Branimir Gvozdenovic, with the authors, Prof. Marijana Pajvancic and Prof. Miodrag Vokuvic MP as well the German Ambassador in Montenegro, Dr. Robert Weber, speaking at this event.

Leaders for Justice - study trip to Berlin

Every year, the Rule of Law Programme South East Europe of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung organizes a study trip to Germany within the frame of the training programme „Leaders for Justice“ . Up to 30 participants are given the chance to get to know the German judicial and legal system through visits of legal institutions and meetings with interlocutors from the judiciary, bar associations and the like. Event reports are available in German only.

The Rule of Law Programme South East Europe (RSP SOE) pursues the goal of promoting particularly qualified young lawyers from the countries of South East Europe. In this context, the large-scale young legal leaders programme "Leaders for Justice" for young Romanian lawyers was initiated in 2010. Despite the special circumstances, a visit by a small group of young lawyers to Berlin was also possible in 2020.
