Opportunities to enhance the energy efficiency in Abu Dhabi are going to be discussed during a roundtable, and issues such as the planning of constructions in an efficient and energy-saving way, as well as the potentials for saving energy will be tackled. These questions are of an increasing importance for the Gulf States due to their high energy consumption per capita. In this regard, the subsidization of electricity and water will be examined as well. The roundtable aims to exchange and communicate the experiences that were made in the field of energy efficiency in Germany during the last years.

This event is predominantly designed for representatives of the authorities for energy and environment of the Emirate Abu Dhabi, as well as development organizations and urban planners.
