The workshop was meant to share the experiences of the ASEAN region in establishing the National Human Rights Commission in view of the upcoming 5 year plan in Vietnam and ongoing discussion on major governance reform in that context. Representatives from Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines were present.

This event was organized in cooperation with the Vietnam Institute of State and Law.
