Details

The international conference held by the Lebanese Constitutional Council in cooperation with the Union of Arab Constitutional Courts and Councils (UACCC) and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung will cover the prospects of development of constitutional justice in Arab countries, taking into account the specificity of each country, in order to promote the rule of law in the MENA region.

The conference is designed to look at the efficiency of Arab constitutional justice and the legal means of recourse it offers, as well as the role of its members. Part of the debate will center on electoral disputes brought before the constitutional court or council, legal procedures, and the constitutionality of laws.
