HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN EASTERN AND SOUTHERN AFRICA

KAS' Rule of Law Program for Sub-Saharan Africa in conjunction with the National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) in Eastern and Southern Africa conducted a workshop on Human Trafficking in Mombasa, Kenya.

LEADERS FOR JUSTICE WORKSHOP

The workshop brought together academics, lawyers and magistrates from Togo, Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, Benin, Burkina Faso and Nigeria to discuss the critical challenges of public finance in West Africa.

Training for South Sudanese Prosecutors on International Crimes, Including SGBV Crimes

The Rule of Law Program for Sub-Saharan Africa in conjunction with the UN Mission in South Sudan Rule of Law Advisory Section (“UNMISS”) and UN International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals Office of the Prosecutor (“OTP”) convened a five-day training workshop for prosecutors from South Sudan in Nairobi, Kenya in June 2019.

TRAINING SEMINAR LEADING IN PUBLIC LIFE: WOMEN, INFLUENCE AND POWER PROGRAMME

The KAS' Rule of Law Program for Sub-Saharan Africa in collaboration with the Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance - University of Cape Town launched the ‘Leading in Public Life: Women, Influence, Power Programme (WIPP)’ in June 2019.
