Training for the Northern Cape branch of the Public Protector (PP)

In continuation of the training programme for the Office of the Public Protector (PP), this workshop targeted officers of the Public Protector of the North West branch.

Orientation training workshop for traditional leaders in Malemia

On 1st and 2nd of November 2018, another workshop for traditional leaders of the Traditional Authority Malemia took place in Zomba, Malawi. For two days, 62 participants were introduced to the new land law in Malawi. The workshop was financed by KAS and carried out in cooperation with the organisation partners Women's Legal Resources Center (WoLREC) and LandNet Malawi.

Release of the Afrobarometer Survey Results 2018 in Johannesburg

On the 13th of November 2018, the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR), the Afrobarometer Network and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation hosted the release of the Afrobarometer Survey Round 7 results of South Africans’ perceptions on land redistribution. At Crowne Plaza in Johannesburg, more than 50 participants representing the academia, media and civil society came together for this event.
