Results of the recent Transformation Audit, a regular public opinion survey by the Institute of Justice and Reconciliation, will be presented and discussed.

Details

The focus of the presentation will be on inclusive development, economic justice and social cohesion. The discussion will explore the private sector's role in an environment of economic injustice and political uncertainty.

The discussion entailed:

  • The IJR’s Transformation Audit: a barometer of inclusive development and economic justice in South Africa
  • The state of economic inclusion and its impact on societal stability and social cohesion
  • Developments in stakeholder relations: business, government, labour and the potential of a developmental consensus
  • Pathing a way beyond business: the private sector's role in an environment of economic injustice and political uncertainty.
