Details

As a significant change-maker, you are cordially invited to the City of Cape Town’s Partnering for Urban Sustainability engagement.
Effective collaboration with multiple stakeholders is critical for building an environmentally sustainable, socially cohesive and economically vibrant city. Partnerships have been identified as central to the implementation of Cape Town’s Environmental Strategy and for moving towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We can begin to develop innovative responses to some of Cape Town’s most complex challenges by developing our understanding and capacity to actively partner with stakeholders both within and outside the City.

Over a day and a half, EDP will guide participants through a number of tools, activities and lenses, with the second day focusing on specific partnerships and partnering opportunities in the city. Participants can expect to leave with a deeper understanding of the authorising environments and behaviours necessary for effective partnering towards urban sustainability.

If you are interested please feel free to contact Julia.Munroe@capetown.gov.za until 14 March 2019.
