Youth Workshop on Digital Politics, Accountable Leadership, and Cross-Party Collaboration

A two-day workshop organised by Jamii Forums, TCD and KAS

A Youth Workshop organised by Jamii Forums in collaboration with Tanzania Centre for Democracy (TCD) and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) took place in Dodoma on 15-16 June, bringing together 27 young people from five political parties. The workshop aimed to empower youth with knowledge on digital politics and the electoral cycle, fostering dialogue on accountable leadership and collaborative problem-solving across party lines for the benefit of Tanzania's citizens.

Capacity building to Women on Peace Building and Prevention of Youth Radicalization

Inter-Religious Council for Peace Tanzania

The Inter-Religious Council for Peace Tanzania (IRCPT) partnered with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) to conduct Zonal Trainings on Peace and Reconciliation Skills for Religious Leaders. These trainings were held at Kyusa Hotel Kigoma from April 25th to 27th, 2023, and at Dolphin Hotel Tanga from May 16th to 18th, 2023. The primary goal was to equip religious leaders with the tools to prevent radicalization, violent extremism, and offensive religious ideologies from taking its roots in society. The training focused on promoting dialogue, early conflict prevention mechanisms, and media engagement to address social and political challenges.

Stakeholders discussion on Digitalization and Entrepreneurship in Tanzania

The Launchpad and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) Tanzania brought together a working group to compile a situational analysis report (SAR) on the state of Digitalization and Entrepreneurship in the country. The SAR was launched on Monday, August 24th and discussed with Stakeholders working in the field of Digitalization and Entrepreneurship in Tanzania.

Discussion on Social Market Economy as a Gateway to Entrepreneurship via Community Radios

On 18th April, 20th April, 09th Mai, 23rd Mai and 25th Mai 2020 the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) and CETA (Civic Education Forum in Tanzania) conducted radio programs to discuss the opportunities social market economy offers young Tanzanians. The programs were hold at community radios in Dar es Salaam and Morogoro. The main objective was to increase awareness among youth on the economic models of social market economy and entrepreneurship.
