Call 112 film press release!

Call 112 World Premiere

Call 112 exposes the threat that disinformation poses to stability. Set during a parliamentary election campaign in Kebambe West, it features James (Blair Koono), a cash-strapped university student and TikToker. James is approached by Albert (Kenny Rukundo) to use his TikTok account to reveal the ‘dirty secrets’ of outspoken MP Teopista Ndyanabo (Mariam Ndagire), who is seeking re-election as the representative for Kebambe West. James is paid for each video targeting Ndyanabo that he shares on his TikTok account. In one of the videos, James targets Ndyanabo’s family by questioning her children’s paternity. As he becomes more entangled in the scandal, he realises that he is knee-deep in it when it is too late.

Many local populations express concerns over resource allocation and service provision, leading to sporadic conflicts that demand urgent interventions.

Peacebuilding Lessons for South Sudan from Northern Uganda

Yei-Okere Peacebuilding Initiative

Drawing a parallel between Okere, a small community that found itself in the wrath of war and civil strife for over three decades and now trying to rebuild itself, and Yei which is currently in the storm of such challenges, we thought it worthwhile as KAS, YAMORA, and Okere City to exchange lessons, networks, and strategies for advocacy, organizing and lobbying with local leaders in Yei, South Sudan.
