SOCIAL MEDIA FOR IMPROVING LOCAL GOVERNANCE AT THE LOCAL LEVEL
Through this project, we seek to engage and train local government leaders in the effective use of social mediato improving good governance, transparency in the management of public affairs, citizen engagement and delivery of social services.
CONFLICT SENSITIVE REPORTING
The training is targeting 20 journalists who are part of the cross-border network. The training is meant to enable them to remain professional media workers as they report about the conflict in South Sudan and the ongoing peace negotiation processes.

The KAS-UMU scholarship holders forum has continued to grow with the increasing number of scholars joining the program. We are happy to facilitate periodical engagements for the scholars to discuss contemporary issues affecting their countries
