Uganda has been applauded for its effort to control, trace and contain the Corona Virus to minimal numbers. This webinar will cover Uganda’s scientific response to the epidemic with the focus being on the country’s efforts prior to case zero, primary prevention protocols, key dates in the virus’ growth curve, spread projection models, justifications for quarantine/lockdown, case finding and tracing and what happens next. The Webinar will also help provide clarifications on several myths around the Virus.

During the inaugural workshop held in Juba on 13th & 14th of February 2020, the political leadership advancement training brought together 30 youth who have demonstrated leadership potentials through previous volunteer engagements and professional work and are interested in furthering their leadership skills and political competencies which will allow them to actively take part in political leadership and civic processes.

The Konrad Adenauer-Stiftung, LéO Africa Institute and Stanbic Bank are therefore bringing together young and aspiring thinkers of a new generation. Already in its third year, the Young and Emerging Leaders Project (YELP) brings together over 30 change makers in various fields to reflect and learn more about servant leadership and why it is a key ingredient for addressing the 21st century leadership and development challenges. From 7th to 9th February 2020, we welcomed 21 fellows of the third cohort to their graduation seminar.
