Methodologies of Information Campaigns - Foundation Office Washington, D.C.
Workshop
Details
With the growth of social media, disinformation has become an increasingly potent political tool. State and non-state actors from various countries, have become adept at manufacturing and spreading disinformation or using covert campaigns to influence public perception and political outcomes in democratic countries around the world. Responding to this threat requires policy makers to integrate insights from different countries and from academic fields that are too often siloed, including communications, computer science, and social psychology.
