A Transatlantic Dialogue on the Changing Media Landscape

The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in Washington, DC, in cooperation with RTL Journalism School and the KAS Journalist Academy, will organize a seminar in Washington, DC, on the American media landscape for a delegation of aspiring German journalists.

Details

The delegation, participants in RTL Journalism School, will meet with veteran German and American journalists, government officials and policy experts during their program in Washington. Meeting topics for the 30-person delegation will include the 2014 mid-term elections, TTIP, and current challenges in the transatlantic relationship. In addition, the group will have the opportunity to meet with working journalists to discuss topics such as investigative journalism, national political coverage, working as a foreign correspondent, and new developments in the field.

RTL Television is a leading general-interest television station in Germany. Since 2000, its RTL School of Journalism for TV and Multimedia has provided aspiring journalists with opportunities to train for successful careers in journalism through a two-year program that provides hands-on experience and seminars in Berlin, Washington, and New York.
