Dr. Jürgen Rüttgers, former federal minister and former prime minister of North Rhine-Westfalia, visited Ottawa, Canada and Washington, DC from February 17th to 21st. There he met with high-ranking political stakeholders and experts from think tanks and international organizations. He discussed in various settings the state of the transatlantic relationship, the challenges to the global order and the current issues driving the dialogue on both sides of the Atlantic.
