Civic and political education for women in Côte d'Ivoire / WYDE Political Parties

45 women leaders trained in political leadership in Abidjan and Bouaké as part of the WYDE project - Women and Youth in Democracy

As part of the WYDE - Women and Youth in Democracy project, funded by the European Union and coordinated by the European Network of Political Foundations (ENoP), two sessions of the Civic and Political Education Program were organized in Côte d'Ivoire to strengthen the leadership skills of women involved in political life. The training sessions were held from May 6 to 8 in Abidjan, then from May 21 to 23 in Bouaké.

Cérémonie de clôture et remise des certificats des formations jeunes et femmes du Projet WYDE

WYDE Political Parties

Clap de fin pour les remises de certificats WYDE Political Parties. Ces dernières semaines, la Fondation Konrad Adenauer (KAS), avec le soutien de l’Union européenne (UE) et en coordination avec l’ENoP, a célébré la réussite de plusieurs dizaines de jeunes et de femmes engagés dans la vie politique en Côte d’Ivoire. Nous avons été à Man le 26 juillet, Bouaké le 28 juillet et Abidjan le 02 septembre pour la remise des certificats et la clôture du programme de formation. Ces cérémonies marquent la fin d’un parcours de formation dédié à renforcer la participation des jeunes et des femmes dans les partis politiques, à travers des ateliers pratiques sur la gouvernance démocratique, le dialogue multipartite, la communication et le plaidoyer, ainsi que la transparence et la responsabilité politique. Ces moments forts témoignent d’un engagement collectif pour une démocratie plus inclusive et participative en Côte d’Ivoire. Un grand merci à tous nos partenaires, aux autorités locales et surtout aux participants, véritables acteurs du changement.

Am 26. März 2016 lud die Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung ihre Sur-Place-Stipendiatinnen und Stipendiaten aus Burkina Faso und Niger zu einem "Atelier Avenir" nach Ouagadougou ein. Die Workshopreihe "Atelier Avenir" (Zukunftsseminare) ist als informelles Forum für die KAS-Stipendiaten in Westafrika konzipiert und bietet die Möglichkeit zum Austausch über wichtige aktuelle Themen.

Landrechte in Westafrika

Von Ursprung und Lösung zahlreicher Herausforderungen

Ein hohes Bevölkerungswachstum, politische wie wirtschaftliche Konflikte sowie der Klimawandel üben in Westafrika zunehmend Druck auf die Ressource Land aus, was zu einer Verknappung derselben führt. Daraus entstehende Konflikte werden durch fragile Institutionen, schwache Regierungsführung, fehlende Bildung und die strukturelle Benachteiligung von Frauen verschärft. Hinzu kommen technische Defizite wie eine fehlende GPS-Kartierung. Investitionen in die Effizienzsteigerung oder den Ausbau von landwirtschaftlichen Aktivitäten werden so verhindert. Dies erschwert den wirtschaftlichen Aufstieg insbesondere der weiblichen Bevölkerung und hat so einen nachhaltigen negativen Einfluss auf die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung vieler Länder in der Region.

Dialogprogramm Westafrika in Berlin und Erfurt

Die Mehrheit der Küstenländer Westafrikas zeichnet sich heute durch eine vorübergehende politische Stabilität und moderates Wirtschaftswachstum aus. Gleichzeitig bestehen große Herausforderungen bei der Integration einer sehr jungen Bevölkerung in den Arbeitsmarkt, mangelhafter Infrastruktur und fehlender politischer Teilhabe. Die frankophonen Länder am Golf von Guinea erscheinen in zentralen Bereichen wie guter Regierungsführung, Unternehmergeist oder Effizienz in der öffentlichen Verwaltung langsamer Fortschritte zu erzielen als ihre anglophonen Nachbarn.
