Bien que les conditions d'ouverture d'une entreprise se soient améliorées ces dernières années grâce à la création de guichets uniques qui permettent de lancer une entreprise en moins d'une semaine, de nombreux jeunes, attirés par l'entrepreneuriat comme solution à la précarité, se lancent dans cette aventure.

Around 50 participants from Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, and Togo came together at the invitation of the KAS Regional Programme Political Dialogue West Africa.

Civic and political education for women in Côte d'Ivoire / WYDE Political Parties

45 women leaders trained in political leadership in Abidjan and Bouaké as part of the WYDE project - Women and Youth in Democracy

As part of the WYDE - Women and Youth in Democracy project, funded by the European Union and coordinated by the European Network of Political Foundations (ENoP), two sessions of the Civic and Political Education Program were organized in Côte d'Ivoire to strengthen the leadership skills of women involved in political life. The training sessions were held from May 6 to 8 in Abidjan, then from May 21 to 23 in Bouaké.

Cérémonie de clôture et remise des certificats des formations jeunes et femmes du Projet WYDE

WYDE Political Parties

Clap de fin pour les remises de certificats WYDE Political Parties. Ces dernières semaines, la Fondation Konrad Adenauer (KAS), avec le soutien de l’Union européenne (UE) et en coordination avec l’ENoP, a célébré la réussite de plusieurs dizaines de jeunes et de femmes engagés dans la vie politique en Côte d’Ivoire. Nous avons été à Man le 26 juillet, Bouaké le 28 juillet et Abidjan le 02 septembre pour la remise des certificats et la clôture du programme de formation. Ces cérémonies marquent la fin d’un parcours de formation dédié à renforcer la participation des jeunes et des femmes dans les partis politiques, à travers des ateliers pratiques sur la gouvernance démocratique, le dialogue multipartite, la communication et le plaidoyer, ainsi que la transparence et la responsabilité politique. Ces moments forts témoignent d’un engagement collectif pour une démocratie plus inclusive et participative en Côte d’Ivoire. Un grand merci à tous nos partenaires, aux autorités locales et surtout aux participants, véritables acteurs du changement.

Auf Einladung der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung informierte sich der Vorsitzende des Arbeitskreises Afrika der CDU/CSU-Fraktion im Deutschen Bundestag, Andreas Lämmel MdB, vom 5. bis zum 8. Februar 2016 über die politische und wirtschaftliche Lage in der Elfenbeinküste, insbesondere mit Blick auf die Situation nach den Präsidentschaftswahlen vom Oktober 2015, bei denen Amtsinhaber Alassane Ouattara mit deutlicher Mehrheit im Amt bestätigt wurde.

Das Regionalprogramm Politischer Dialog Westafrika (PDWA) lud in Kooperation mit dem Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienst (DAAD) in Abidjan zu einem Rundtisch ein, der sich mit dem staatsbürgerlichen Unterricht an ivorischen Schulen und dessen Beitrag zu gesellschaftlicher Kohärenz und nationaler Versöhnung in der Côte d'Ivoire befasste. Eingeladen waren Experten aus dem Bildungsbereich, Universitäten, Schulen und der Zivilgesellschaft.

Stärkung des "Etat civil" in Togo

Offizieller Start eines Projekts der KAS und dem Dachverband der togoischen Zivilgesellschaft

Am 08. April 2016 wurde in der togoischen Hauptstadt Lomé der offizieller Startschuss für das Projekt « Promotion de l’Accès aux Actes d’Etat Civil à Tous » (PACTE) gegeben, mit Hilfe dessen die Bevölkerung für die Bedeutung offizieller Papiere (Geburtsurkunde, Ausweis, Reisepass) bei der Wahrnehmung ihrer bürgerlichen Rechte und Pflichten sensibilisiert und eine Vereinfachung des administrativen Beantragungsprozesses erreicht werden sollen. Die Anwesenheit hoher Vertreter dreier togoischer Ministerien und der Medien bezeugte das große Interesse, auf PACTE im Land stößt.

Die Stipendiaten der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung aus Niger und Burkina Faso fanden sich am 7. Mai zu einem weiteren Workshop der Veranstaltungsreihe "Zukunftsseminare" (Atelier avenir) zusammen. Vor dem Hintergrund der jüngsten Terroranschläge ging es um die "Rolle und Verantwortung der Jugend im Kampf gegen extremistische Gewalt in Westafrika".
