Presenting the results of a 2011/2012 project on further EU-Japan Cooperation at the Nexus of Security and Development the KAS Japan Office in cooperation with the European Japan Advanced Research Network (EJARN) released the publication A Proposal for a Way Forward on EU-Japan Cooperation at the Nexus of Security and Development.

In addition to a summary of the project’s events in Berlin and Tokyo, an assembly of precise policy recommendations are at the core of this publication, that is complemented with statements by Mr. Elmar Brok, MEP, Chair of the EP Committee on Foreign Affairs, and Ms. Misako Yasui, Member of the Japanese House of Councillors (DPJ), as well as a short introduction of all project participants.
