DESCRIPTION:The Africa Data Summit was held on 26 June 2025 and hosted by the KAS Regional
Programme Economy Africa, in partnership with the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA), Policy Center for the New South, and African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET). The Summit brought together over 95 participants from more than 10 African and European countries, including policymakers, think tanks, government
representatives, students, civil society, and private sector entities working on various aspects of the data economy.
