KASYP 10th Year Grand Alumni Meeting
Event
Details
Since its inception in 2010, the Konrad Adenauer School for Young Politicians (KASYP) has contributed greatly to the capacity building amongst young leaders in the region. At the same time, the family of KASYP alumni has grown to more than 200 members dedicated to the idea of strengthening political parties and democracy in Asia through accountable and responsible young political leaders.
For this year, we celebrate a significant milestone for the training programme in reaching 10 batches of KASYPers. Not only that the programme has survived through the years, it has produced a network of alumni who are now elected leaders, members of parliament, ministers, executives of multilateral organisations, public sector managers and executives, communication and campaign strategists, academicians, and even private sector leaders in their respective countries. This substantial achievement deserves, not only to be celebrated, but also to be shared with the public to give hope in these times when democracy is in decline.
