The fourth training module is the final instalment and culmination of the 2-year KASYP training programme with the aim to provide participants with the exposure to the role of political parties at different levels, within a political system, particularly in Germany. This module provides an opportunity for young Asian leaders to learn on various topics such as social market economy, sustainable development, international cooperation, political participation, and about the German governance structures and political party organisations.

Apart from thematic discussions, the programme will also allow the participants to dialogue, with young German political leaders who are members of state and federal governments, on issues affecting international party cooperation, participation in political decision-making, and strategic challenges for “big tent” parties.

The last part of the programme is a study visit to the cities of Erfurt and Jena in the State of Thuringia where the participants can have first-hand experience and observation on the regional level of political party works, local governance and development, and political campaigning.
