As part of KAS and AHK efforts to contribute towards economic development of Nigeria, a series of economic forums shall be organized in 2019, and the first forum shall examine the current challenges the Nigerian economy is facing and work out suggestions for the newly-elected government.

On May 23, 2019, KAS in partnership with the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce (AHK) in Nigeria will be bringing together about 80 relevant stakeholders and captains of industry in the first forum in Lagos to identify and work out possible suggestions to the Federal Government as well as the government of Lagos State, the state with the biggest economy in Nigeria.

Amongst the expected stakeholders are Chambers of Commerce, and Industry, industrialists, diplomatic community, Members of Lagos State House of Assembly, civil society organizations, and journalists.
