Pacific Update, Suva

The Pacific Update, a multinational conference organised by ANU’s Development Policy Centre in cooperation with the University of the South Pacific (USP) and with the support of KAS Australia and the Pacific as well as the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), was held from 3 to 5 July 2019 at USP in Suva/Fiji.

The Conference represents the premier forum for policy issues in the Pacific and provided academics, experts and members of the public with the opportunity to discuss a range of policy issues in the Region. This year’s topics included governance, climate change and labour mobility. KAS Australia and the Pacific looks forward to supporting the Pacific Update again next year.
