Tọa đàm Mekong lần thứ nhất

Bối cảnh thay đổi địa chính trị ở khu vực Mê Kông và những hàm ý cho các quốc gia trong khu vực

Ngày 19/1 Viện Konrad-Adenauer Việt Nam và Viện Nghiên cứu Chiến lược Ngoại Giao, Học viện Ngoại giao đã tổ chức thành công tọa đàm Mê Kông đầu tiên với chủ đề “Bối cảnh thay đổi địa chính trị ở khu vực Mê Kông và những hàm ý cho các quốc gia trong khu vực”. Tọa đàm đã kết nối các nhà nghiên cứu và nhà ngoại giao trong nước với các học giả quốc tế trong lĩnh vực nghiên cứu về vùng Mê Kông. Điểm nổi bật trong chương trình nghị sự của tọa đàm (i) thảo luận về những động thái các quốc gia ven hạ lưu sông Mê Kông nên làm trong thời gian tới, (ii) phân tích vị thế địa chính trị đặc biệt của khu vực Mê Kông , (iii) các xu hướng mới nổi ở khu vực Mê Kông.

The South China Sea International Conference (#SCSC) is a premium annual regional security forum focusing on SCS issues and ocean governance. Book Review: "Times of Uncertainty..." which documents research papers on anti-Covid policies in Southeast Asia and other regions

On November 16, KAS Vietnam and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities co-organised a seminar introducing the book entitled National Policy and International Relations under the Covid 19 in Southeast Asia and Beyond. Apart from reviewing main content of the book which is to be published by German Publishing House Nomos Verlag, the seminar discussed the impacts of the pandemic on regional cooperation, ASEAN and multilateral institutions. The hybrid event attracted about 100 participants online and onsite.

Ngày 15/10/2021, tại Hà Nội, Học viện Ngoại giao phối hợp với Quỹ Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) tổ chức Tọa đàm kỷ niệm 10 năm thiết lập quan hệ Đối tác Chiến lược Việt Nam – Đức (10/2011-10/2021). Tọa đàm có sự tham dự của các Đại sứ, nguyên Đại sứ, đại diện một số Bộ/ngành, cơ quan nghiên cứu, doanh nghiệp của hai nước. Tọa đàm được tổ chức theo hình thức trực tiếp kết hợp trực tuyến trên nền tảng Zoom với hơn 300 lượt theo dõi.

European National Innovation Systems: Trends, Policies and Challenges - Lessons learned for Vietnam

In the context of a rapidly developing knowledge economy, National Innovation Systems (NIS) can play a crucial role in the economic growth of countries. European countries have paid special attention to promoting scientific and technological innovation, enhancing the combination of scientific and technological innovation with economic growth. At the same time, they proposed strategies and policies to promote the development of NIS. Vietnam’s NIS is in the process of being finalized, so there are still many limitations such as: the policies to promote technology development in Vietnam have not been given high priority, and they have not yet been integrated into the country’s industrial, investment and trade policies. Vietnam's industrial policy pays little attention to developing domestic technological capabilities as an indispensable factor in the industrialization process. The process of commercializing innovative products is not really effective, reducing the motivation for NIS development. Against this background, on 9 Sep 2021, experts from Việt Nam and Europe gathered at an online seminar to discuss the application of the National Innovation Systems (NIS) in Việt Nam, a new concept that could bring profound effects. The seminar was co-organized by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Vietnam Office and Institute for European Studies/VASS.
