NATIONAL CENTER FOR POLICY RESEARCH
The National Center for Policy Research (NCPR) is the first Think Tank which was established in Post-Taleban Afghanistan. It was founded by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in May 2003 at Kabul University. The NCPR consists of three departments. They shall support the Afghan government in its decision making processes.
Therefore, the NCPR collects data for an effective planning process. Its researches shall lead to the formulation of appropriate political, social and economic reforms.
With the Catalogue of Studies (COS) the NCPR is going to implement research projects that correspond with those political, social and economic problems faced by Afghanistan. The Afghan government will be able to order 3 studies out of 90 research topics.
