Eine Gruppe von jungen belarussischen Politikerinnen und Politikern aus Parteien rechter Mitte werden Errungenschaften von Politikerinnen aus Litauen kennenlernen, um einschlägige positive Erfahrungen ins politische Leben in Belarus zu transferieren.

Monday, 16 September 2013

  • Welcome notes by Dr. Alexander Brakel (KAS) and Mr. Vaidas Augūnas (EDUCATIO)

  • Introduction of the participants and their expectations for the course

  • General situation with gender equality and participation of women in Lithuanian and German politics (by EDUCATIO and KAS)

  • Round table discussion on the situation of young women in politics in Belarus and respective organisations/parties

  • Meeting with Ms. Loreta SENKUTĖ, the President of Lithuanian Youth Organisations Council (LiJOT) and LiJOT Bureau (at the premises of Lithuanian Youth Organisations Council (LiJOT))

  • Meeting with Ms. Vilija ALEKNAITĖ ABRAMIKIENĖ, MP (Homeland Union), Member of the Parliamentary Group "For Democratic Belarus" and Committee on Legal Affairs (in the Parliament of Lithuania)

  • Presentation of gender programmes of IRI and other gender projects by Anastasija MINIAJEVA (International Republican Institute) and Anastasija PANASEVIČ ( Eastern Europe Studies Centre)
