Details

This seminar aims at bringing together service chiefs, senior officers of security agencies and chairmen of committees on security in Nigeria’s House of Representatives to discuss strategic initiatives towards institutionalizing the practice of interagency collaboration and to discuss gains, gaps, prospects and areas of further assistance towards embedding best practices in security management. It would further enhance the exchange of information and ideas on ongoing initiatives by KAS towards strengthening Nigeria’s security architecture including issues of overlapping mandates of security agencies to eliminate interagency rivalry, while setting agenda for future initiatives for further support to Nigeria’s security sector reform. The roundtable is part of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung’s support to the Security Sector Reform in Nigeria. This program is funded by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
