Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung is organizing a event in which Dr. Hans-Gert Pöttering, former President of European Parliament, and the Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege will be discussing and comparing supranational communities and the roles of parliaments in such communities.

Participants at this event will include ambassadors from EU member countries, African diplomatic missions, legislators from the National Assembly, senior civil servants from ministries, departments and agencies of government, civil society organizations and journalists.

The seminar will be moderated by Prof. Ken Ife, a lead consultant with ECOWAS.
