לרגל יום האישה הבינלאומי ערכה הוועדה לקידום מעמד האישה ושוויון מגדר בראשותה של יו"ר הועדה ח"כ עאידה תומא-סלימאן פעילות נרחבת לציון יום האישה הבינלאומי. במהלך האירוע הוצגו נתוני סקר ראשון מסוגו בארץ, אשר בודק את תחושת הביטחון האנושי, האישי, התעסוקתי ועוד של האזרחים במדינה, ובקרב הנשים בפרט.

Deutsch-Israelische Regierungskonsultationen

Die Gemeinsamkeiten überwiegen

Zum sechsten Mal fanden am 16. Februar 2016 die deutsch-israelischen Regierungskonsultationen statt. In Berlin traf sich die vom israelischen Ministerpräsidenten Benjamin Netanjahu angeführte elfköpfige Delegation zunächst in kleinem Kreis mit Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel. Anschließend wurde in Anwesenheit der Ressortminister und Regierungsvertreter über die gegenwärtige bilaterale Zusammenarbeit gesprochen sowie über Bereiche in denen künftig noch intensiver kooperiert werden kann. Es spricht für die Qualität der Beziehungen, dass dabei auch Kritik sehr deutlich geäußert wurde.
