During this visit, Dr. Schüler intends to inform himself on the programmatic orientations and the development of political parties in Cambodia and to establish communication lines between the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) with Cambodian political parties. He will be accompanied by Mr. Frank Priess - Deputy Chairman for European and International Cooperation at Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Headquarter in Berlin.

Their visit is part of a longer trip to the Philippines, Korea and Cambodia. In Korea they will participate in the E-lection Bridge Seminar – which is a yearly meeting and networking event of key political party campaign managers from the Asia Pacific, organized by the Regional Media Program of KAS Asia.
