Because of population growth, rapid urbanization, and economic development, the CLMV countries have a high annual electricity demand growth rates. The aim of this conference is to share experiences, challenges and responses to the energy security issue at both national and subnational level. Due to the complexity of the topic, scholars, regional and local experts and decision-makers in the field of energy, economic, hydropower, and environment together with officials from different ministries will be gathered for discussions and exchange.
