In Order to strengthen capacity on election reporting skills of Cambodian journalists, particularly CCJ members, the Club of Cambodian Journalists in cooperation with KAS will conduct a training on 20 -21 of April. This is to improve knowledge and skills that are necessary to cover the upcoming sub-national election in 2017 and the national election in 2018 professionally and balanced. Further the training aims to promote fairness and transparency in election of both sub-national and national level through media.

The issues addressed by experts from all relevant sectors of state and society will include ethnics for journalists in election reporting, election processes and Laws, interview strategies for politicians, tips on how to do good reporting on elections, as well as journalists acting as election observers.
