The handbook is intended for the young voters to show them the importance of elections and explain to them why it is important in a democracy to learn about elections, electoral process, candidates and to exercise their rights to vote.

The handbook for young voters is the product of a joint project of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS), the Young European Federalists from Kosovo (JEF-Kosovo), the youth organization "Albansk Ungdom" from Norway and the NGO from Kosovo CIVITA. The project aims to attract young people with various activities for the upcoming elections in Kosovo and to explain them the voting procedures.

With the creation of the handbook the first phase of the project is done. In the second phase of the project the handbook will be presented across the country in the context of discussions and to give to young people the opportunity to ask questions about the elections and to discuss with representatives from government and the NGO sector. The dates of the events will be published on this website or can be requested at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation office in Pristina.
