The conference aims to bring together 25 experts and relevant practitioners on this topic to discuss and enlighten current issues and challenges regarding Islamic finance and banking between participants from different Muslim dominated countries. It serves to point the way in which Islamic banking and finance could work in the framework of the social market economy. It also aims to determine the similarities and differences to help identify anchor points for the possible establishment of social market economy principles in the Muslim world.
