NATIONAL YOUTH HACKATON - STOP „BRAIN DRAIN“!

Association LEAD in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Wilfried Martens Center for European Studies issues a call for participants on a hackaton for tackling the Brain Drain problem. The event will take place in Ohrid from 17 until 19 of May as a continuation of the Regional Hackathon that also took place in Ohrid in 2018.

EDS Council Meeting “Youth for Growth: Strengthening Generation E”

EDS organized its first Council meeting in Skopje
Together with EDS (European Democratic Students), the official student organization of the European People’s Party, the Youth Forces Union of VMRO-DPMNE co-hosted the first Council Meeting of the working year 2015/2016 under the title “Youth for Growth: Strengthening Generation E”. The event was held in Skopje from September 29th until October 4th with the financial and organizational support of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Skopje and the Wilfred Martens Center for European Studies.

High School Students from Ohrid Express their Visions and Wishes for Europe

One of the main goals of the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation is the promotion of the EU's values and the integration of Macedonia into the union. Drawing upon these targets, the KAS organized the simulation game “Visions and Wishes for Europe” for 37 high-school students from OSU “Kliment Ohridski” in Ohrid during 25-27 of September.

Mittelschüler aus Ohrid formulierten ihre Visionen und Vorstellungen von Europa

Prioritäre Ziele der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung sind die Förderung europäischer Werte und die Integration Mazedoniens in die EU. Vor diesem Hintergrund organisierte die KAS vom 25. bis 27. September das Planspiel „Visionen und Vorstellungen von Europa“ in Ohrid, an dem 37 Schülerinnen und Schüler der Mittelschule „Kliment Ohridski“ teilnahmen.

Implementation of the project “Strengthening the student council in SUGS Nikola Karev”

The Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation, in partnership with Youth Can launched the first pilot project of its kind with the aim to build capacity for the current student council in the Nikola Karev High School in Skopje. The goal of the project is to empower students so they can develop their own functional and sustainable model of a fully student-led council that can be used as a model for other High Schools in the country.

Summer school "Religion, Ethnicity and Nationalism"
Over thirty young students from Macedonia participated at the Summer school titled as "Religion, Ethnicity and Nationalism", which was organized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in cooperation with the five religious communities and the University "Euro-Balkan" in the period between 15-19 September 2014 in Skopje.
