A brainstorming session amongst editors from Europe and Asia

Editors from Asia and Europe were invited to meet in Mongolia to discuss methods on improving connectivity and open communication between the two continents. Prior to this meeting, two journalists’ workshops were conducted in Brussels and Guangzhou, during the months of January and May, respectively.

Digital change: Asia News Network meets german and swiss publishing houses

Almost 50.000 visitors came within three weeks to the National Museum of Singapore to see the 145 award-winning photographs of the World Press Photo 2015 exhibition. These are twice as many visitors as in the past year.

Federal Director of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) party in Singapore

Federal Director of the CDU, Dr. Klaus Schüler, Deputy Secretary General of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS), Dr. Gerhard Wahlers, and Deputy Head of the Department European and International Cooperation of KAS, Frank Priess, have been in Singapore for talks with media representatives. They discussed current political challenges in Europe and Asia – like the current situation of refugees that affects both continents or questions according foreign and security policy.
