The Media Programme Asia of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) continues its strong partnership with the Asia Europe Foundation (ASEF) through its support of the yearly Asia-Europe Journalists’ Workshop. Journalists from Europe and Asia discussed their diverse media landscapes and how to connect them. Over two days of exchange, journalists explored their roles in connecting communities and reflecting issues from other parts of the world. At the same time, they focussed on trends in the digital media landscape of Asia and Europe and its impact on the field of journalism. Finally, the participants developed concrete strategies for enhancing connectivity between the two regions. As a result, they planned a structured communication network between the journalists and their media outlets as well as cross continental collaborative projects.
