Details

Currently, security threats in Asia and for NATO Member States are on the rise. Strategic regions face phases of instabilities with the potential for larger repercussions. Although the interests and concerns are not always addressing the same challenges for security, it nevertheless remains important to enhance the mutual understanding on both sides of the Pacific and to listen to other perspectives.

The third NATO-Asia Dialogue aims to provide such a framework for exchange. It will address issues of common concern and mutual engagement such as Afghanistan but will also look into institutional constraints and global developments in the world of security and defence. The public conference will bring together stakeholders from NATO institutions, Brussels based Think Tanks and representatives from Asia.
