Tim Wenniges (2014 Young Leader) is currently the Head of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Office in Shanghai, China. Prior to this position, he headed the units for Political and Governmental Affairs and also Higher Education Policy and Cooperation at Südwestmetall, the Baden-Württemberg Employers’ Association of the Metal and Electrical Industry. From 2005 to 2006, he was a consultant at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia and a full-time lecturer at Universitas Pelita Harapan in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Mr. Wenniges holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Erfurt, Germany, a diploma in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University, Bologna Center, and a Master’s degree in Advanced International Studies from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and University of Vienna.
