Federal Minister Dr. Müller speaks with UN staff members
For the first time since the launch of the Agenda 2030 in 2015, Heads of State met in New York during the so-called SDG Summit in order to take stock of the state of implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  Four years down the road, it is obviousthat the world is lagging behind and that innovative approaches and renewed efforts are necessary to accelerate implementation. KAS took the opportunity to talk with Minister Dr. Müller on the global importance of the 2030 Agenda beyond development policy and the need for strategic partnerships with civil society and the private sector, while at the same time tapping into the expertise of experienced United Nations experts working on these topics on a day to day bases.
