The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Ramallah has recently organized a panel of experts with Dr. Jürgen Rüttgers, Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) and NRW’s minister of education Barbara Sommer at Birzeit University. Opening of the Public-Private Dialogue on the Private Sector Agenda

Focusing on the challenges and prospects of the Palestinian economy, a two day conference in Ramallah is currently introducing the Private Sector Agenda and Industrial Policies, which aims at reforming all areas necessary for the development of the Palestinian private sector. The conference takes place on May 7th and 8th, 2008 and is organized by the Palestinian Federation of Industries (PFI) in cooperation with the Private Sector Coordination Council (PSCC) and with the support of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Ramallah.

First Campaign of the Baader Youth Network on Strengthening Women’s Rights Launched Successfully

On March 22nd, 2008 the Baader Youth Network (BYN) launched successfully its first campaign to strengthen women's rights and their role in Palestinian society. The event titled "Palestine Prospers through Women’s Contribution” took place at Birzeit University near Ramallah.
