The participants of the annual Diploma Program in Public Administration offered by the Institute for Community Partnership made a field trip to Jericho on October 20th 2016 to visit a project run by the KAS partner-organization EcoPeace. The group was accompanied by Marc Frings, Resident Representative of the KAS Office in Ramallah, and the program managers Linda Safarini and Fee Brinkmann.

Das ist die Philosophie hinter Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB), einer vielschichtigen Strategie mit dem Ziel eine gerechtere Aufteilung zu ermöglichen.

Members of the German Landtag visit the Palestinian Territories

On October 4th 2016 the Konrad-Adenauer foundation welcomed a delegation from the CDU fraction in the Landtag of Baden-Württemberg. Led by former state secretary Georg Wacker the four members met with several actors from Palestinian Civil Society and Politics to gain a better understanding of the current situation. Additionally, the politicans had the opportunity to meet representatives of German Development Initiatives to get insights into Germany’s involvement in the Palestinian Territories.

Only a small majority of Palestinians (51%) and Israelis (59%; 53% of Jewish Israelis and 87% of Arab Israelis) supports a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. So reports the new Palestinian-Israeli Pulse: A Joint Poll, published today by the Israel Democracy Institute (IDI) in Jerusalem and the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PSR) in Ramallah, with funding from the European Union (EU) and in partnership with and support from the Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung in Ramallah and Jerusalem.

On 11 of May the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and the Institute of Law (IoL) of Birzeit University organized a legal encounter, entitled "An Overview of the Rule by Decree on Social Security".
