Launch of the official Website of the Consortium of South Asian Think Tanks

Supported by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, the Consortium of South Asian Think Tanks (COSATT) has launched its official website http://www.cosatt.org/, providing a comprehensive knowledge base on South Asia and the SAARC countries.

Founded by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies (IPCS) in 2008 and since then supported by the Regional Programme SAARC of KAS, COSATT is a think tank network dedicated to promote the regional integration of the SAARC countries Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka as well the relations between South Asia, Europe and other regions of the world. As a network of leading South Asian think tanks COSATT analyzes regional political, economic and social challenges and opportunities and regularly publishes policy recommendations for a deeper regional cooperation in South Asia. Besides institutional partners from the region such as the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS) and the Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS) in Dhaka, the Centre for Bhutan Studies (CBS) in Thimphu, the Centre for South Asian Studies (CSAS) in Kathmandu, the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies (IPCS) in New Delhi and the Regional Centre for Strategic Studies (RCSS) in Colombo, COSATT includes a wide network of think tanks, institutes, universities, NGOs and experts from all countries of South Asia into its consultations and recommendations.
