In collaboration with the Institute of State and Law, the KAS Rule of Law Programme Asia will be organizing a Workshop on Fair Trial in Criminal Proceedings: International Experience & Implications for Vietnam on 5 and 6 September 2019 in Hanoi, Vietnam. The workshop will see the participation of experts from Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea and Vietnam. It will provide a platform to compare different jurisdictions to identify difficulties, obstacles and bottlenecks in ensuring the right to a fair trial in criminal proceedings.
