Pöttering trifft libanesischen Präsidenten Sleiman

Der Vorsitzende der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung und ehemalige Präsident des Europäischen Parlaments, Dr. Hans-Gert Pöttering, ist in Beirut mit dem Präsidenten Libanons, General Michel Sleiman, zusammengetroffen. Im Mittelpunkt des Gesprächs standen die aktuellen Herausforderungen für den Libanon nicht zuletzt durch den Bürgerkrieg in Syrien. „Mit mehreren einhunderttausend Flüchtlingen benötigt das Land dringend unsere Unterstützung“, so Pöttering.
