Schuld an der Energiekrise sind Korruption, Missmanagement und Inkompetenz beim staatlichen Stromanbieter Eskom. Während Staatspräsident Cyril Ramaphosa die Verantwortung seinen Vorgängern zuschiebt, versucht die Opposition im Wahlkampf vergeblich einen Vorteil aus der Krise zu ziehen. Den Umfragen zur Folge werden die südafrikanischen Wähler den ANC voraussichtlich erneut mehrheitlich wählen – obwohl sie im Dunkeln sitzen.

Training for the Northern Cape branch of the Public Protector (PP)

In continuation of the training programme for the Office of the Public Protector (PP), this workshop targeted officers of the Public Protector of the North West branch.

Orientation training workshop for traditional leaders in Malemia

On 1st and 2nd of November 2018, another workshop for traditional leaders of the Traditional Authority Malemia took place in Zomba, Malawi. For two days, 62 participants were introduced to the new land law in Malawi. The workshop was financed by KAS and carried out in cooperation with the organisation partners Women's Legal Resources Center (WoLREC) and LandNet Malawi.
