This KAS event, co-hosted by the Centre for Unity in Diversity focuses on the question how to balance Religion, Custom and the Constitution in modern South Africa.

The aim of the seminar was to discuss the CRL Rights' Commission's Commercialisation of Religion and Abuse of People's belief System's Report and interrogate the role of religious freedom and customary practice within a constitutional democracy.
