This conference is aimed at bringing together all the relevant policy makers and stakeholders to discuss the current status of investment and to make sustainable policy recommendations that will help promote economic development in the region, with specific case studies from Tanzania. This event will focus on regional investment themes and trends, including:

• Investment in infrastructure in Southern Africa;

• Investing in energy and private sector participation in this sector;

• Private sector’s role in developing regional value chains; and

• Developing policy for sustainable investment.
