The annual KAS/SAIIA Alumni Workshop aims to foster discussion around topical international relations issues and to promote a network amongst former scholars. "The role of South Africa in Africa" will be the theme for this year's workshop.

17:00: Welcoming speech by Dr Werner Böhler, Resident Representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation South Africa, and presentation of current activities (20 mins)

Welcoming speech by Elizabeth Sidiropoulos, National Director of the South African Institute of International Affairs, and presentation of current activities (20 mins)

Questions and discussion followed by a request to alumni to present themselves with a focus on their career paths
