Rights to Privacy in regard to the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562
The seminar co-organised by KAS and Institute of Public Policy Studies (IPPS) together with network organisations is IPPS’s final event of the year 2019 which will provide the participants from related working fields a platform to gain summary of knowledge about the current policy and situation of personal data protection in Thailand, to exchange opinions beneficial for further policy development, and to pave the way for further observation on the law enforcement.

KAS in cooperation with the Graduate School of Human Sciences of Assumption University will hold an international conference in order to research and investigate the development of media into an efficient instrument for gathering public opinions and supporting social movements on diverse issues. This one-day conference on the topic of ecological, social and economic sustainability within Thailand and ASEAN’s economy took place on November 28, 2013 at Assumption University, Bangkok. The goal of this conference was to find a solution for the ecological, social and economic problems created by the integration process of the ASEAN community. This comprehensive theme was discussed from a total of six different perspectives.

In the past months KAS together with the Secretariat of the Senates (SOS) had organised the series of seminars and workshops to develop political education and participation throughout the country. Around 240 chosen participants had a chance to attend the final seminar in the annual meeting of the SOS on 23rd August 2013 in Bangkok.
